1st Grade Teachers

  • Lauren Brown

    Mrs. Brown attended Georgia College and State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently in her 10th year of teaching and has been teaching in Putnam County since the beginning of her career. Mrs. Brown's favorite thing to do is spending time with her husband, Chris, and her sons, Gage and Carter. Gage is in Pre-K this year at PCPS! She also enjoys planning and organizing outreach events with her church, Church Central, in Milledgeville.


  • Sally Brown

    Mrs. Brown earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from GCSU, and a Specialist degree in Curriculum Instruction and Management from NOVA University. She has been teaching for 18 years; 13 of those years teaching in Putnam County. She lives in Milledgeville with her husband and two daughters. Her older daughter attends Putnam County Elementary School and her younger daughter attends PCPS. Mrs. Brown enjoys watching her girls compete in dance competitions, shopping, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Heather Bryan

    Heather Bryan attended Georgia College & State University where she earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, Master of Education in Early Childhood Education & Specialist of Education degree in Early Childhood Education.  She enjoys shopping, reading, UGA football and spending time with family and friends. 


  • Tricia CoxwellTricia Coxwell

    Mrs. Coxwell grew up in Putnam County and is a proud graduate of the school system.  She attended Georgia College and State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education.  She is currently teaching Math and Science and loves it!  Mrs. Coxwell also enjoys reading, walking, playing sports, and spending time with her family.


  • Thereasha Daniels
    Mrs. Daniels has taught Pre-K for 9 years and first grade for 3 years.  She enjoys teaching students and watching them grow from the beginning to the end of the school  year.  Teaching is Mrs. Daniels' heartfelt passion.

    Ms. Puckett loves teaching first grade!  She earned a Bachelor's degree Master's degree  from Georgia College & State University.  She is involved in several ministries through her church. Ms. Puckett enjoys spending time with family & friends, scrapbooking, playing & watching sports,

    and cooking.  Her favorite Bible verse is "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands." (PSALM 138:8)

    Ms. Waller grew up in and currently resides in Putnam County.  She is a proud graduate of the Putnam County School System, so she knows that great learning happens here! This school year marks her 5th year teaching first grade at Putnam County Primary School.

    Ms. Waller earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is currently attending Walden University pursuing her Master’s degree in Elementary Reading & Literacy. Ms. Waller sets forth high expectations for every child she teaches and does everything that she can to help them reach their full potential.  Ms. Waller feels that it is such an honor to be able to provide early learners with the tools necessary to become lifelong learners. In her spare time she loves to read, shop, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
