In 1979, I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Brewton-Parker College.  In that year I also married my husband, Billy, and a few years later we began raising our family.  I taught private school kindergarten and pre-k for twenty years while my children were at home.  In 2004, I returned to school, after my daughter and son had married and left for college, to complete my undergraduate studies.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2006 from Brewton-Parker College.  I am currently earning my Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy through Walden University which I will complete in April 2011. My husband is Minister of Music at Northside Baptist church in Milledgeville, Georgia where I am actively involved in choir, hand bells, and teaching children’s choir.  We have two grandsons whom we treasure spending time with.  My hobbies include shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family.
